no-milk milkshake

This is so good that kids might for­get there’s no ice cream in here. And for adults, it’s a vel­vety, creamy indulgence.

Total time: 5 min­utes
Yield: 2–3 small servings

1 c. choco­late almond milk (Almond Breeze is GFCFSF)
1 banana
1/4 c. almond or peanut but­ter
hand­fuls of ice
(about 2 cups)

  1. Blend every­thing in blender until frothy. Serve in tumblers.

    I make a sim­i­lar shake. I peel and freeze the bananas and when­ever we want a shake, we just pop the frozen bananas in the blender and add fruit for a smoothie or choco­late and peanut but­ter for a shake. By freez­ing the bananas you don’t need to add ice.
