A nice alternative to oatmeal with lots of fiber and more protein that you’ll find in any other grain.

Yield: 1 serving
1 c. water
1/3 c. quinoa flakes
pinch of salt
handful of blueberries
drizzle of agave syrup
- Bring water to rapid boil. Add salt and quinoa flakes.
- Return to boil and cook for 90 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour into bowl. Let sit for several minutes for cereal to thicken.
- Drop a handful of your favorite berries or slices of fruit on top and drizzle with agave syrup.
