peach iced tea

Amys Gluten Free Pantry

My dad was southern, and iced tea was always in the fridge. Here’s a fresh way to serve it with a kiss of peach.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Active time: 1 hour
Yield: 15 8oz servings

6 of your favorite tea bags (I love decaf Kombucha)
3 c. boiling water
3 c. cool water
3 c. peach nectar
1/4 c. agave nectar or to taste
plenty of ice
peach sliced for garnish

  1. Place your tea bags in a 4 cup tempered glass measuring cup and fill with boiling water. Let steep about 10 minutes.
  2. Squeeze tea bags and let tea cool. Into a large pitcher, add cool water, tea concentrate and peach nectar. Stir and refrigerate until cool.
  3. Serve in tall glasses with lots of ice and a few peach slices floating on top.
