The Santa Ana’s are blowing this week. The winds that I always associate with dry warmth now produce a chilly morning and evening draft that reminds me it’s still winter. I am drinking hot tea in the mornings to stay warm and something cool and refreshing in the afternoons when the winds die down. This lemon squeeze is just what I want. As simple as it is, it’s my favorite every day drink. Because of it’s simplicity, you can really taste the flavor of the lemon.
I buy organic Stevia at Trader Joe’s. The container comes with this really tiny scooper because Stevia is so incredibly sweet. I’ve found that the strength of the sweetness varies, so make yours to taste.
